Bhopal, July 12 (IANS) At least three members of a family were killed and five injured when the house in which they were living collapsed in Dhaman village of Madhya Pradesh’s Narsimhapur district Sunday morning, police said.
“The village had torrential rains since Saturday and the ‘kutcha house’ caved in Sunday morning when most of the family members were having their morning meals. Two sisters died on the spot while their aunt Shanti Bai succumbed to her injuries while being taken to hospital. Five others in the family were also injured, two of them seriously,” police said.
All the injured have been admitted to Narsimhapur district hospital.
Narsimhapur district is about 250 km from here.
