Lucknow : Over 55 percent turnout was recorded in by-elections to four assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh Tuesday, officials said.
Polling was peaceful with no untoward incidents reported.
The highest turnout, 66 percent, was recorded in the Morna constituency in Muzaffarnagar district and the lowest, 45 percent, in the Moradabad Central constituency.
Malihabad in Lucknow district and Viduna in Kanpur Dehat recorded 55 percent polling.
