New Delhi : After Hindi, English and Telugu, the National Geographic Channel (NGC) will now be available in Bengali.
The Bengali channel will be available from Nov 3. Viewers across West Bengal will now be able to enjoy shows like “Jailed Abroad”, “Air Crash Investigations” and “Great Migrations” in their native language.
“We are extremely thrilled to reach out to the audiences of West Bengal. West Bengal is an important market for us as we have a large number of viewers in the state. Bringing NGC in Bengali will give our viewers a flavour of compelling stories in their native language, aided by stunning visuals and credibility that people have come to expect from the National Geographic Channel,” Keertan Adyanthaya, managing director, National Geographic Network and FOX International Channels, said in a statement.
“It will be a valuable addition to the National Geographic Channels Network and will reinforce our commitment to offer our viewers a new way to look at the world – inviting them to Live Curious: learn and explore constantly about science, technology, history, culture, nature and wildlife,” Adyanthaya added.
