New Delhi : Veteran journalist Ajit Bhattacharjea, who was part of the Right to Information movement, died at his home here Monday after a long illness. He was 87.
Bhattacharjea was a former editor of the Hindustan Times and the Indian Express, author of a political biography of Jaya Prakash Narayan and books on Sheikh Abdullah and Kashmir.
According to mediawatch website The Hoot, Bhattacharjea was suffering from a brain tumour.
