Patna : The Bihar government Monday suspended Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Ansuiya Rana Singh Sahu for corruption, an official said.
The suspension followed a recommendation from the police headquarters.
Sahu, a 2006 batch IPS officer, was accused of corruption when she was the superintendent of Sheikhpura district between March 24 and Sep 12 this year, an official of the home department said.
“It is official now. She has been suspended with immediate effect,” said a police official here.
She is currently posted at the police headquarters without any assignment.
