During a reception held to honour him in the Jamia Urdu Aligarh by the Millat Bedari Muhim Committee (MBMC) Aligarh. He said, “India is on the progressive path and we must also share the fruits of the developments.

Addressing the gathering, Tahseen Siddiqui, Chairman of District Board, Farrukhabad said that the NRIs should take interest in the social and educational upliftment of their deprived.
Farhat Ali Khan, OSD, Jamia Urdu called upon the Old boys of AMU settled in foreign countries to help the Jamia Urdu which is providing education to financially weak sector of society. He said that Jamia Urdu Centre should be opened in Dubai.

Jasim Mohammad Secretary of MBMC while welcoming Yasser Ali Khan said that Old boys Association is engaged in social work in UAE and Oman and Mr. Yasser is not only serving his Old Alma – mater but also nation.
Millat Bedari Muhim Committee (MBMC) Aligarh honoured Yasser Ali Khan with Sir Syed Mission Award which carried a Memento, Shawl, and Certificate.
