New Delhi: Two people were killed while two of their friends were injured after a car they were travelling in rammed into a tree here early Monday, police said.
The accident was reported around 2 a.m. from central Delhi’s Ranjit Nagar.
Raj Singh Dhillon, 27, a resident of Punjab, and Akshat Kumar, 22, a resident of central Delhi’s Paharganj, died in the accident. Sukhchain, 30, a resident of Punjab, and Ismail, 19, a resident of Jalandhar, were injured, police said.
“All the victims, who are friends, had gone to attend a marriage in Shadipur. While returning from the ceremony, their car collided with the tree,” said a police officer.
