New Delhi: Delhi saw a muggy Sunday with high humidity levels and the maximum temperature two notches above average at 35.8 degree Celsius. The met department has forecast rain Monday.
“There is a possibility of cloudy sky and rains on Monday,” said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
The maximum and minimum temperature are expected to hover around 34 and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The minimum temperature Sunday settled one notch above average at 27.5 degree Celsius, while humidity wavered between a high and low of 88 and 59 percent.
The national capital has recorded 460 mm of rain since the arrival of early monsoon in June which is 46 percent more than the average.
