Police said Singh was a gang leader in Delhi’s Najafgarh area.

Though he had rivalries with many other gangs, his animosity was intense with a particular member named Sajjan, a member of a rival group.

On Feb 6, Singh along with some of his accomplices abducted Sajjan and took him to a field in Jhajjar, Haryana, where they assaulted and shot him dead.

Investigating the abduction, police questioned some of Singh’s accomplices on suspicion who broke down and revealed the details.

Three of the associates were arrested Feb 20 while one more was caught Feb 25.

The arrested accused disclosed the location of the body and named Singh as the mastermind.

Police said Singh was in hiding after the murder and was constantly changing his location.
