Sydney : Australia, who clash with Sri Lanka in the Commonwealth Bank Triangular One-day Series here Friday, have the best record at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) of the nine teams that have played at this venue as they have won 70 of their 106 matches for 66.04 success rate.
The hosts have lost 33 and three matches have ended in a ‘no result’. Australia also have put up the highest total at this beautiful ground, scoring 368 for five wickets in 50 overs against Sri Lanka in 2006. They have recorded the biggest margin of victory, having defeated England by 10 wickets in 2003.
