State Bank lowers prime lending rate

Mumbai : The State Bank of India (SBI) has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it has decided to revise its benchmark prime lending rate by 25 basis points from 12.75 percent to 12.50 percent a year.

According to the announcement made by the SBI, the lowered rate will be effective Feb 16.
