Hathras : At least 12 people were killed and two others were critically injured when a speeding oil tanker rammed into an overcrowded Maruti van in Sikandara Rau in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras district Tuesday, the police said.
The police said that the oil tanker was also carrying some passengers in the driver’s cabin.
Two women critically injured in the crash were rushed to an Aligarh hospital. The driver of the oil tanker is absconding, according to the police.
