Milan : Juventus beat struggling visitors Parma 3-0 in a Serie A game that was called off in March for the death of a Parma fan on his way to Turin’s stadium.
Frenchman David Trezeguet and Raffaele Palladino scored first-half goals followed by an own goal to confirm Juve’s third place that virtually grants them one of four Champions League berths with five games left.
With Wednesday’s win Juventus have a wide 11-point gap from leaders Inter Milan, but hold a 12-point lead over fifth-placed AC Milan, whom they beat 3-2 at the weekend.
Parma remained rooted in fourth-from-last position, just one point above the three-team relegation zone.
