Muslim Council of Britain to elect new office-bearers

London : The Muslim Council of Britain is to elect its new office-bearers on the occasion of annual general meeting on June 8 at the London Muslim Centre in the East London district of Whitechapel.

The AGM will hold elections for the central working committee and all the main MCB office bearer positions.

According to an announcement, the afternoon session will include a panel discussion on ‘Looking Beyond the Terror Narrative: The British Muslim community in 10 Years Time’ to be chaired by Dr. Abdelwahab el-Affendi, Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for the Study of Democracy, University of Westminster and co-ordinator of the Centre’s Democracy and Islam Programme.
