New Delhi : Hydrocarbon major Cairns India has begun a recruitment drive to staff its Rajasthan operations, where it is developing the largest Indian onshore oil discovery in over two decades.
In a company statement here Wednesday, Cairns said it has started a recruitment campaign to fill up 300 key positions to assist with the operations and maintenance of mechanical plant and equipment associated with the wells, production, utilities and pipeline facilities at its Rajasthan site.
Cairns India earlier recruited its first batch of operational engineering graduates from Rajasthan colleges in November 2007.
Cairn India currently employs more than 800 people at its headquarters in Gurgaon and at operational bases in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan.
