Beijing : Jitender Kumar became the second Indian boxer to move into the quarterfinals of the Olympic Games here Saturday.
In the pre-quarters at the Workers Gymnasium, Jitender outpunched Uzbek Tulashboy Doniyorov 13-6 in the flyweight (51kg) category.
Akhil Kumar had stormed into the last eight Friday by beating world champion Sergey Vodopyanov of Russia in the bantamweight (54kg) category.
