Kerala police investigating Rahul Easwar’s ties with Ram Sene

Thiruvananthapuram [Kerala]: The Kerala Police Intelligence has started investigations in to the mysteries regarding the organisational ties of Rahul Easwar-a popular figure in Kerala initially as a channel anchor, author, orator, activist who later turned out to be a news channel debate specialist. He is the joint convener of Hindu parliament and has formed a ‘Vishala Hindu Aikyam’- meant to unite Hindu’s of all castes and creeds but is often criticised as the one protecting elite Brahmanist interests.

Earlier the Delhi Police Intelligence had revealed reports regarding his constant contacts with right wing Hindutva extremist organisations like Sri Ram Sene, Bhagath Singh Kranthi Sene and its leaders in Delhi.

He is a popular icon in the channel debates in Kerala and when ever some communal or so-called terrorist issues were the hot topics in national English news channels he was invited there as well. He was always there in the forefront to terrorise Islam and played a vicious role in the ‘Love Jihad’ hate campaign against Muslims. He always maintained a veil of secularism while presenting his arguments, saying that he opposes hardliners from both communities. Because of this secular image, he was often an invitee in the programmes organised by Muslim political and religious organisations, especially the Indian Union Muslim League [IUML].

The intelligence doubts he took part in the November 25th Sri Ram Sene conspiracy to destabilise the Popular Front of India [PFI] Social Justice Conference in Delhi. His explanations in Facebook and some other websites denying the accusations were quite contradictory as well. At first his reply was that he was on his way to Malaysia and whilst his stay in Delhi; he says, due to the busy schedule he was in no mood to be out anywhere in Delhi.

But later he had to admit that he was there in the Connaught Place, Mohan Singh Building for having a tea. The Delhi police have made it clear that, it was here the Sri Ram Sene secret meeting was held. Though later agreed that he was there with his friends for having a tea, Rahul was unwilling to reveal anything regarding his friends.

The intelligence so doubts that Rahul was there at Connaught place in the secret meeting along with Sri Ram Sene Delhi state president Indar Varma, Bhagath Singh Kranthi Sene President Thejinderpal Singh Bagha, General Secretary Vishnu Guptha and other members from both organisations.

The Delhi Police was closely monitoring the meetings organised by both these groups taking in to account their inherent violent nature. It is believed that Rahul was often part of their conspiracies and meetings since times. But he was maintaining a secular image by hiding these hate based activities and making use of his debating abilities in those news channel programmes.

It was since then the Delhi Intelligence sought assistance from the Kerala Police for keeping a close vigil on his activities and foreign trips; besides it is believed that they had transferred information based on their investigations as well.

Rahul being the grand son [daughter’s son] of the Sabarimala Melsanthi was denied access in to the Sreekovil of the Sabarimala Temple while he was trying to get in along with his grand pa; by the Devaswom board members who insisted on the rule that the maternal grand son can’t any way be allowed to enter in to the Sreekovil along with the Melsanthi, because he is not the legal heir for the post. But it is believed that the Devaswom board members were rather strict on him under the wake of these intelligence reports.

The Kerala state intelligence has now started probing deep into his mysterious acts and foreign tours; besides the state intelligence is keeping a close watch on the stands adopted by him on the issue of entrance denied, in to the Sreekovil as they doubt Rahul was influenced by these Hindutva organisations to intentionally create a controversy to increase his prospects as the heir of the present Melsanti. Detailed enquiries are now being carried out to expose his involvement in those violent Hindutva acts in different parts of the country including those recent conspiracies in Delhi.

In channel debates often after his initial illustration on the epic religious harmony story of Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa Swamy and Swamy’s Muslim companion Vavar, he often goes ahead with hate speech against Islam, associating it with terrorism without adequate evidences. Now with the ‘Love Jihad’ campaign carried out by the mainstream media and fake cases on - ‘Muslims youth using Hindu, Christian women to convert them after making use of them’- being proved baseless on earlier court verdicts and recent Police reports; most among the mainstream media and politicians are on the defence subject to an effective counter campaign by the Muslim NGO’s and organisations demanding them to apologise on their earlier hate campaigns against the Muslim community, as it is now officially proclaimed that – ‘the Love Jihad issue was a Hindutva creation’

But in channel discussions Rahul is still not ready to accept the police reports with his argument that, for him – ‘Love Jihad’ though not existing in a coordinated systematic manner is still a reality with its tentacles still spread to victimise the innocent Hindu girls – an example which well proves that he will be convinced only by the investigative reports from www.hindujagruthi.org, the website indicted in the Police report for carrying out hate campaigns on ‘Love Jihad’ and it seems like most among the print and visual media sourced information from this website for their exclusives whilst the issue was burning.

His stand on the Babri Masjid issue, Hindutva involvement in Malegaon blasts, the book by IG SM Mushrif on ‘who killed Karkare’ were quite a shock to the secular values of a normal Indian citizen. In those channel discussions on Babri, his opinions astonishingly resembled Praveen Togadia’s demand on building ‘Rama Kshethra’ in place of Babri Masjid. But he is generous enough to call the demolition a legal violation and hence he believes, “he should be called a secularist.”

He discourages any attempt to call Aseemananda and his aides as Hindutva extremists or culprits, in the Malegaon blasts; as he states the court is yet to give its verdict on them but he always walks a step ahead in calling Abdul Nasar Madani and other innocent Muslims culprits or even terrorists even after being let free by the court being proved innocent. He even dares to call IG Mushrif, former Gujarat DGP KB Sreekumar, Arundhathi Roy and Teesta Setalvad as ‘publicity freaks’.

The Muslim community, often victimised by his mile long tongue; are far relieved with the present developments against him, as they believe the inner “Modi” within him will be completely exposed being suffocated by the investigations, he will soon be forced to jump out of those secular veils.
