“The Congress has always supported the establishment of sovereign, independent viable state of Palestine, within well-defined and recognized borders, living side-by-side at peace with Israel through a negotiated solution to the conflict there,” said the All India Congress Committee resolution here Saturday.

The resolution added: “The AICC calls upon the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government to expand its aid and emergency relief program to the Palestinian authorities.”
