New Delhi: Imam of Delhi’s Shahi Masjid Fatehpuri, Dr. Mufti Mukarram Ahmad, said Muslim children and youths should be taught and trained in a way that they are able to counter hostile propaganda against Islam and Prophet Muhammad.
In his Friday sermon on 25th April, Mufti Mukarram said some people are talking rubbish about the Prophet and Islam because they know not about them, and so they need guidance. He stressed that each of our youths should be acquainted with every aspect of the Seerah of the Prophet.
Referring to the increase in communal violence in some parts of the country in recent days, Mufti Mukarram demanded the central government to deal harshly with communal elements that are becoming a danger for harmonious atmosphere of the country. He urged the Union and state governments to use iron hand against rioters.
On U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s threat to wipe out Iran, Mufti Mukarram said this will not be possible for the U.S. to do because it has stuck too deep in Iraq and Afghanistan to come out easily.
