New Delhi : Three people were killed and as many critically injured Saturday when a cab carrying BPO employees collided head-on with a truck on the DND flyover, police said.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on the Delhi-Noida-Delhi (DND) flyover when the quallis carrying employees of the HCL call centre in Noida collided with the truck coming from the opposite direction on the wrong carriageway.
“Three persons including the driver died on the spot. Three others were injured. The injured were rushed to the hospital, and their condition is said to be critical,” the police said.
They were returning after their night shift, the police added.
The deceased have been identified as Navpreet Kaur (24) Noor Babu (28) and driver Fateh Singh (47).
Police is trying to trace the truck driver, who is missing.
