Ashgabad : China and Turkmenistan have analyzed initiatives to boost bilateral relations in occasion of President Hu Jintao’s visit to this country, which has contributed with several accords
Talks between Hu and his host Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov were focused on strengthening bilateral links as part of a program that has previously began.
The two countries agreed to increase commercial ties and cooperation, according to a joint declaration.
A committee will be established with this purpose that will promote cooperation in energy, security, culture and education, among others.
They also committed themselves to create favorable conditions to speed up contracted projects and assured that both countries gas pipeline will start operating as planned.
The Chinese leader arrived in this capital Wednesday night, last stopover of a regional tour through Korea and Dushane, Tajikistan later where he attended the 8th Summit of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
This mechanism is also made up of Russia, Kazajastan, Uzbekistan, and Kirguistán.
