Sana’a : Yemen and Russia have signed here the protocol for the exchange of the consulate agreement approval document between the two countries.
The agreement was signed Tuesday by Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Muthana Hassan and the Russian ambassador to Sana’a Vladimir Trofimov.
After the signing, Hassan affirmed that the agreement is a part of the current preparations for President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s visit to Russia early next year.
It will provide an appropriate environment to enhance bilateral relations in economic, trade and cultural fields.
For his part, Trofimov expressed Russia’s desire to deepen the historic relations with Yemen, noting that there are various areas to develop bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
