The Congress-NCP government came to power promising to implement the Srikrishna Commission Report. But taking a U-turn, the government took the latest decision. This will further deepen the community’s disenchantment with the secular parties.

In his front-page piece titled ‘Muslim tanzeemon ki bedari ka waqt aagaya’ on 1st February, Farooque Ansari of the Urdu Times criticized the government’s decision.
