Gaza : Israel announced on Thursday its decision to step up security measures in its embassies and other diplomatic representations in various countries.
The Israeli radio said the Jewish state’s security services have issued orders to its embassies and delegations abroad to be on high alert following the assassination of Hezbollah’s top military leader Imad Mughniyah in the Syrian capital, Damascus, Wednesday.
Israel denied yesterday any involvement in the assassination of Hezbollah’s top military commander in an official statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Bureau.
However, Israel is being accused of being behind the blast.
