Kuala Lumpur : Islamic Republic of Iran’s new Ambassador to Philippines presented his credentials to that country’s President Gloria Aroyo in Manila Friday.
According to IRNA correspondent in Manila, Ali-Mojtaba Rouzbehani in his meeting with President Aroyo also conveyed Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s regards to the Filipino counterpart.
President Aroyo, too, sending her best regards to President Ahmadinejad, expressed delight over the deepening trend of the two countries’ cooperation and relations.
Both sides agreed during the meeting over the need to further expand the level of comprehensive bilateral ties.
