BHC skipper Paul Michael said the match would be played in good spirit and the spectators will get to witness fair play.

“We English invented the game of cricket but I have never seen more passion for the game than here in India whether I have been watching or playing myself. This annual fixture pits the two teams together to do battle on the field,” he said.

Kuldeep Singh Bhardwaj, MEA Cricket Team captain said: “The annual game of cricket is another link between the two countries and through this ‘cricket diplomacy’, we try to reaffirm the close relationship.”

The winners will get the rolling trophy currently in the possession of MEA.
