Tehran : Iranian Government spokesman, Gholam-Hossein Elham denied on Tuesday allegations that his country is interfering with Arab affairs, noting that cooperation with Arab countries is based on bilateral relations and claims about Iran interference was only used by media.
The Iranian official noted that such allegations aim at creating dispute among countries in the region.
Regarding the Lebanese crisis, Elham said he called on all Lebanese parties to end their disputes and not to include foreign powers which he claimed were what destabilizing Lebanon.
The spokesman added that his country supports any measure taken to end the disputes, hoping that the current talks in Doha will pave the way for a return to dialogue among Lebanese parties.
Meanwhile, “Tehran sees the call for disarming Lebanese Hezbollah contradict with what the Lebanese people wants,” Elham added.
