Beirut : The General Secretariat of the Lebanese Parliament has set Friday for Prime Minister-designate Fouad Al-Siniora to start his parliamentary consultations to form a new government.
A statement, issued by the Secretariat Wednesday, said that Siniora will carry out his parliamentary consultations at the parliament building Friday and Saturday for the formation of the government under newly-elected President Michel Suleiman.
The new government is governed by the Doha agreement which stipulates that 30 ministers be distributed on the basis of 16 pro, 11 for the opposition, and three to the president.
