Noida : One person was killed and two others were injured when a truck in which they were travelling hit a road divider and overturned here late Tuesday evening.
The mishap took place at around 8 p.m. There were seven people on board, including five labourers.
Station House Officer, Okhla Barrage Rajesh Chaturvedi said, “One person in his late 40s died on way to hospital. His body is kept at the district hospital Noida. The two injured have been admitted to Vinayak Hospital.”
The injured have been identified as Mohammad Sahjad and Udaibeer. The identity of the deceased is not yet known.
“The truck driver, Jaibeer, surrendered at the police station,” said Chaturvedi.
