New Delhi: The Supreme Court Monday adjourned till the third week of July the hearing of a lawsuit seeking directions to the government for retrieving Indian black money stashed abroad.
A bench of Chief Justice K.G. Balakrishnan adjourned the hearing after counsel Anil B. Divan for petitioner Ram Jethmalani sought time to study the affidavit filed by the government Saturday on the issue.
Divan strongly refuted the government’s contention that the lawsuit was politically motivated.
