New Delhi : Of the young Turks in Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s cabinet, the youngest – Nationalist Congress Party’s Agatha Sangma, 28, – is minister of state for rural development while, Sachin Pilot, 31, of the Congress is MoS communications and IT.
Apart from Sangma, the other six are all from the Congress.
Following is the list of young ministers:
Agatha Sangma – age 28 – minister of state in the ministry of rural development.
Jitin Prasad – age 35 – MoS in ministry of petroleum and natural gas
Jyotiraditya Scindia – age 38 – MoS ministry of commerce and industry
Sachin Pilot – age 31 – MoS in communications and IT
R.P.N. Singh – age 39 – MoS in road transport and highways
Arun Yadav – age 36 – MoS in youth affairs and sports
Pratik Prakashbapu Patil – age 36 – MoS in heavy industries and public enterprises
