New Delhi : India’s water needs for various purposes by 2025 will climb to between 784 and 843 billion cubic meter, the Rajya Sabha was informed Monday.
Minister for Water Resources Pawan Kumar Bansal said in a written statement that the maximum and overwhelming requirement would be for irrigation.
The demand for domestic needs and industries come in the second and third spots.
