Kolkata : A Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (HuJI) activist and absconding accused in the 2001 abduction of Khadim Shoe Company boss Partha Roy Burman has been arrested in Kolkata, police said Thursday.
“The STF arrested HUJI activist Mizanur Rahaman from the city and various incriminating articles were seized from him. It also came to light that he is an absconding accused in the Khadim kidnapping case,” said a release from the special task force (STF) of Kolkata Police.
