Beijing : As many as 19 people were killed Thursday when their lift crashed from the 30th floor of an apartment building being constructed in China’s Hubei province, authorities said.
The accident occurred at around 1.25 p.m. in an area that is being built in the provincial capital of Wuhan, a government spokesman said.
The victims were mostly construction workers, Xinhua quoted the spokesman as saying.
