Islamabad: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has opened a women training centre in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Built at a total cost of $500,000, the 25,000 square-foot centre is equipped with the latest machines to train women and girls in sewing, embroidery, leather crafts, designing and decoration. It also offers courses in handicrafts, styling, cosmetics, wax making, cooking and first aid.
The centre has been opened in line with the directives of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
