The AIMA has issued a condolence message on the sudden passing away of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, former president of India, who it described as “a brilliant missile scientist” on behalf of the large number of Indian Muslims living in the United States of America.

Throughout his life as a scientist and as President of India, Dr Kalam continued to work hard to inspire friendship in the religiously diverse Indian society and to inspire and motivate the youth to excel in education in order to uplift the Indian nation, Kawaja pointed out and added, “Indeed those two nuggets became his shining legacy for all Indians. The people of India will remember Dr Kalam for a very long time for his unique and inspiring personality and the ideals that he enshrined in the minds of all people of India.”
“Indian Muslims, who live in the US join other Indians in paying tribute to this great and unique son of mother India,” the statement added.
