Mumbai : Indian equities markets rose during afternoon trade Monday, with a key index ruling in the positive terrain 30 minutes before close.
The sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened Monday at 9,381.78 points, against the previous close at 9,323.59, was ruling at 9,391.73 points, 0.73 percent or 68.14 points above its previous close.
The broader S&P CNX Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange was also trading in green at 2,848.1 points, with a rise of 0.69 percent over its last close.
