Kolkata: West Bengal’s ruling Left Front chairman Biman Bose Thursday said he has no expectations from the rail budget for 2011-12 as the railway ministry is bankrupt.
“I don’t have any expectations from this rail budget especially for West Bengal. There is no scope of expectations from this rail budget as it (railways) is bankrupt,” said Bose at the sidelines of the book launch programme here.
Railway Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee is scheduled to present her third railway budget as the railway minister of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government Feb 25.
