New Delhi : India will not compromise its interests while discussing Siachen with Pakistan, Defence Minister A.K. Antony said Monda.
The minister told the Lok Sabha that India and Pakistan have discussed the dispute over Siachen and other aspects.
“The area of Siachen glacier is an integral part of India,” he said in a statement.
“Deployment of troops in the area is based on threat perception and other operational issues so that national interest is not compromised.”
