Gurgaon: Four women and five men, including three executives of a multi-national company, were arrested here for involvement in prostitution, police said Tuesday.
A police team headed by Inspector Sajjan Singh and Sub-Inspector Rani Devi Monday night conducted a raid on a lodge in sector 39 and arrested the nine accused.
All accused, aged between 22-28 years, were presented before a court which sent them to judicial custody for 14 days, police said.
The accused included the lodge’s manager Girish, who hails from Uttarakhand, and the lodge’s operator Hawa Singh, who hails from Rajasthan, police said.
“The accused were arrested after a raid on the guest house,” Sub Inspector Rani Devi said.
“Four arrested women were living in different parts of Delhi,” police said.
“The three arrested executives of a private firm are Lalit, Sidharth and Vijay,” police said.
Lalit hails from Uttar Pradesh, Sidharth from Jharkhand and Vijay from Bihar, police said.
