Gaza : Two Palestinians, including a woman, were killed and three others wounded in an Israeli aerial attack in northern Gaza Strip on Thursday afternoon, medics and witnesses said.
Witnesses said an Israeli aircraft fired an air-to-ground missile at a car driving in northern Gaza Strip, killing two people on board.
The sources said Shehda Abu el-Fool, a militant of the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC)’s armed wing, along with his wife, were killed in the airstrike on their car.
Palestinian medics at Kamal Odwan Hospital said that two Palestinians were killed in the Israeli airstrike and three others were wounded, one in critical conditions.
Earlier Thursday, al-Qassam Brigades, armed wing of Islamic Hamas movement, claimed responsibility in different leaflets for launching at least 10 “Qassam Rockets” from Gaza at Israel.
The group said that the rockets attacks “are a response to the ongoing awful Zionist crimes and massacres committed against our people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.”
More than 20 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli ground and airstrikes since Tuesday. Most of them are members of Hamas armed wing, including the son of senior Hamas leader in Gaza Mahmoud al-Zahar.
