The Scotland detectives are helping Pakistan investigate the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, former Prime Minister and chairperson of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), in a suicide blast in Rawalpindi in December.

After collecting evidence and other material, a six-member team had returned to Britain. According to press reports, the team is likely to submit its report to the authorities on Friday.

Scotland Yard detectives are investigating how Bhutto was killed, not who was responsible for her death.
