The former First Lady got 50 percent of backing, while the Illinois Senator got 44 percent, according to the poll.

In a previous survey carried out on April 2, Clinton boasted a nine-percent difference, organizers of the Quinniapiac University survey said.

Only two weeks before the Pennsylvania primaries, Obama’s progress puts Clinton’s predicted victory into danger, Director of the Quinnipiac University, Clay Richards, said.

Richards explained that for the first time, Obama managed to exceed Hillary Clinton among male electors and reduced significantly the margin among females who support her.
