Washington : Republican presidential candidate John McCain (Senator from Arizona) on Wednesday said that the United States must continue to engage in the global “war on terror,” but must do so carefully.
Speaking at the World Affairs Council in Los Angeles, California, McCain said that the war on terror will be the greatest challenge for the next U.S. president.
Understanding that the United States is under intense scrutiny in both its domestic and foreign policies, McCain said “we cannot wish the world to be a better place” than it really is.
