Ranchi : Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren appeared in the Giridih district court Wednesday in an over three decade old murder case.
Soren appeared in the court of Radha Mohan Tewary, district and sessions judge of Giridih district, in the Kudko murder case.
Soren pleaded innocent and said he should be acquitted in the case.
The murder case is related to killing of two persons in 1973 in Kudko village of Giridih district.
Soren was among nine persons accused in the case. All others accused have been acquitted. The case against Soren was pending as he had not been appearing in court.
According to lawyers, the judgment in the case is likely to be delivered in a couple of months.
