New Delhi: Sir James David Bevan, British High Commissioner to India will deliver a Talk on “Reasons to be Cheerful: Why Now is the Best Time to be Young” at Jamia Millia Islamia.
The Talk is intended for the university students and his talk will be followed by a Q & A Session with students and an informal interaction afterwards over a cup of tea.
Prof. S.M. Sajid, Vice-Chancellor, Jamia Millia Islamia shall Chair the programme.
Sir James David Bevan, the current British High Commissioner to India, studied social Anthropology at Sussex University and joined the Foreign Office in 1982. He has served in a number of bilateral and multilateral missions and has worked on a wide range of political, security, economic development and other issues. He took his appointment as British High Commissioner to India in November 2011.
The programme is scheduled to be held on August 22, 2013 at 2.30 PM in the Conference Hall of FTK-Centre for Information Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia.
