New Delhi: The Centre for Culture, Media & Governance, Jamia Millia Islamia is going to organize a Lecture on “Sex Crimes Reporting in the Indian Press Before and After the Delhi Rape” by Prof. Daniel Drache.
The lecture will be around the most extensively covered rape case of Delhi in recent times and an empirical analysis of media reports in Hindu, Indian Express, India Today and Tehelka from 1 January, 2012 to August 31, 2012.
Prof. Daniel Drache is Professor Emeritus and Senior Research Fellow, Robarts Centre for Canadian Studies, York University. He has been a visiting Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University and Jamia Millia Islamia New Delhi, EUI Florence, CNRS Paris, and Massey College, University of Toronto among others.
The programme is scheduled to be held on November 11, 2013 at 11.30 AM in the Network Governance Lab. of Centre for Culture, Media & Governance, Jamia Millia Islamia.
