Mottaki made the remark in response to the new proposal made by Group 5+1 in London.

The European countries are well aware of Iran’s red lines, he underlined.

During his joint press conference with his Yemeni counterpart Abu Bakr al-Qurbi, Mottaki referred to his recent meeting with British Foreign Secretary David Miliband in Kuwait and said he was informed that on May 2nd the Group 5+1 would gather in London to write a letter for Tehran.

“I told him that you are quite familiar with Iran’s red lines, therefore, you should avoid crossing those lines,” Mottaki said.

Iran has made an exact assessment of regional and world developments and is to prepare a package to provide a suitable opportunity to help resolve problems through dialogue, Mottaki said.

Mottaki also referred to the recent visit of a Russian delegation to Tehran and said “We have informed Russian delegation of the content of our proposal package.”
The Yemeni foreign minister, for his part, said during his meeting with Mottaki the two sides reviewed deeply rooted ties between Iran and Yemen and underlined the need for both states to turn their relations into a model for other countries.

On expansion of political and economic relations with Iran, he said Yemen gives priority to promotion of economic cooperation and believes that establishing good economic ties would result in broadening of political ties.
