Islamabad : Pakistan's banned militant group Baluch Liberation Army (BLA) Friday claimed responsibility for killing Baluchistan provincial government spokesman Raziq Bugti, private DAWN NEWS TV channel reported.
Biberg Baloch, self-claimed spokesman of BLA, has called a press club in Quetta to make the claim, according to DAWN NEWS.
Raziq Bugti was shot dead Friday afternoon by gunmen in an ambush in Quetta, the provincial capital of Baluchistan, local TV channels reported.

Muslim groups to protest against textbook in Kerala
Kozhikode : A coordination committee of various Muslim organisations in Kerala Wednesday decided to go ahead with the plan to launch an agitation for the withdrawal of a controversial class VII social studies textbook.
P.K. Kunhalikutty, state general secretary of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), said the government decision Wednesday to constitute an 18-member expert team to study the controversial textbook and the school curriculum reforms in the state will not deter them from the agitation.

Mohammad Fariz, in his 30s, was taking a short nap in his office in the Industrial Area of Doha when the fire broke out due to a short circuit Tuesday afternoon.
According to local media reports, the fire devoured the entire office building before Fariz could escape.
