Hamas militants attack Fatah lawmaker in Gaza

Gaza : Militants of the Islamic Hamas movement stormed the office of a Fatah lawmaker in southern Gaza Strip and severely wounded him, Fatah sources said.
The sources said that several members of the Hamas executive security force stormed the office of Ashraf Jom'a, a Fatah lawmaker in the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) Monday evening.

Pakistan security forces kill 12 Islamic militants
Islamabad : At least 12 Islamic militants were killed Tuesday in clashes with the security forces in Pakistan's restive tribal area bordering Afghanistan, officials said.
"Around 30 to 40 militants in two vehicles opened fire on a military patrol this morning around 11 a.m. local time (0600 GMT) when they were stopped at Banda checkpoint near Miran Shah, the main city in tribal district North Waziristan," military spokesman Major General Waheed Arshad told DPA.

Sydney : Fresh details have emerged in the case of Muhammad Haneef, the Indian doctor charged in connection with the failed UK bomb attacks.
The mobile phone SIM card belonging to Haneef was actually seized by the police eight hours after the jeep crashed in the Glasgow airport, when Haneef's cousin Sabeel Ahmed was arrested in Liverpool, sources in the UK and Australia have told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).
