Jammu : Expressing their satisfaction over restoration of peace in the state of Jammu and Kashmir various Sikh organizations today demanded compensation police firing victims, transporters and traders of the state.
Addressing a joint press conference here today various Sikh organizations have hailed government for releasing the Hurriyat leaders Umer Farooq, Sayed Ali Shah Gilani and Yasin Malik on the eve of Holy month of Ramadan.

New Delhi : The Gujarat government Monday informed the Supreme Court that one of the three arrested senior police officers of the state has confessed his role in the staged killing of Ujjain man Sohrabuddin Sheikh and his wife.
